Qualified, experienced and dynamic French tutor offering tailored (and fun!) lessons online and in Sheffield

Clémence has been my French tutor for the past 3 years and I cannot recommend her classes more! They are every interactive, you completely forget you are doing them virtually and feel that you are very much in a classroom. Clémence also incorporates interesting topics from current news and culture from French speaking countries to teach everything from vocabulary to grammar and I have found this to be very engaging!

I have taken French lessons with Clemence over almost 3 years (both through university-run adult language lessons and more recently through private lessons) and would highly recommend her as a tutor. Her lessons are really engaging and enjoyable, thoughtfully prepared, varied in content and take account of the learner's needs. The themes of the material are also often very topical and make language learning in the classes really interesting. She is very approachable and easy to communicate with when scheduling lessons. She is great at tailoring her classes to specific needs (for example my goal was to improve my speaking) and she is willing to go the extra mile to make sure you understand fully.
