About Ruth
I am 25 years old and I am from Galway city. I finished my undergraduate degree in French and Irish in 2022 from the University of Galway and then went on to do an Máistir Gairmiúil san Oideachas (the Master's of Education through Irish) in the University of Galway. Doing this master's through Irish allowed me to do my work placements in all Irish speaking secondary schools in Limerick and Dublin. I gained experience teaching both the Junior and Senior cycle. I also worked as a teaching assistant in the University of Galway's Youth Academy for two years. I have also worked as a waitress in France and am currently working as a language assistant in a high school in France which means I am flexible to do online lessons.

My aim is to help students build confidence and reach their full potential in the target language. For exam students, I focus on developing speaking confidence for oral examinations, providing clear notes, and teaching effective exam techniques.
