About Shabana
I am a confident, highly qualified, and enthusiastic person, with 10+ years of teaching experience at KS3, KS4, and KS5. My teaching ethos is to make learning an enjoyable, highly structured, and a confidence-building process. I also believe that being a teacher encompasses more than just preparing students for academic success; it also involves preparing them for life in general. I have had teaching experience in both the UK and Qatar. My experience has enabled me to obtain many skills in addition to the current skills I possess. I have had a good reputation throughout my teaching career and welcome any new challenges. I am also profound in working with students doing research work in the health sector at a medical college in Qatar. I would like to demonstrate my skills and attributes to assist all the students so they can maximize their full potential.

With my many years of experience in teaching, I pride myself on being with the ability to work well organized, calmly under pressure, and have excellent time management. I have great determination and patience to see things through. I am very passionate about teaching and learning and I show great commitment to my job and students. I take great pride in fostering aspiration in all students, so they aim high and achieve their goals. I am very passionate about the fact that students should all be supported and encouraged and we, as facilitators of their learning, are responsible for raising the achievement of all students in our school.
I offered numerous support lessons regularly including coming into school on Saturdays for support. I feel that analyzing data and planning lessons alongside the use of intervention is key to student success. When you plan according to students' level, they also enjoy it feel successful, and feel motivated to do well. Analyzing data and putting interventions in place is the essence of teaching including knowing your students well.
, I am extremely confident in using techniques that create an outstanding lesson, such as higher-level questioning, pace, and mini plenaries in order to ensure that progress is made every lesson and that pupils’ knowledge is consolidated at the same time. I use a variety of range of teaching methods including ICT, classroom management, differentiation, and assessment for learning strategies to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom. I have also used VLE, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Forms to create Quizzes, and any other relevant resources available on the Internet to enhance teaching and make learning more fun. I am also a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator, Educator Community Influencer as well as Community Contributor. I have earned 18 badges altogether in Microsoft in Education and I use Microsoft Technology very effectively in my classroom to engage my learners.
