About John
I am a full-time secondary music teacher with degree in music and composition from Newcastle University. I graduated in 2018 and have been a teacher ever since, as well as a PGCE. I have taught GCSE and A-Level music on the Edexcel Syllabus as well as Music Theory and Choral conducting.

I base my teaching on the way in which each pupil works best. I have taught a variety of pupils with contrasting styles of learning and look for what is best for each one. I like to plan my lessons in advance but remain flexible in order to adapt any learning and information to the situation.
