About Sophie
I am a teacher at a secondary school teaching English to all years from age 11-16. I am looking to transfer my skills from the classroom to a more focused and tailored 1:1 tutoring environment. The aim of this is to deliver specialised and tailored sessions for students who actively want to get better at the subject and have the determination to unlock their potential. I have a personal passion for English literature and the impact of writing on culture and the world we understand today. I believe it is vital that the younger generation are exposed to a wealth of authors, ideas and cultures within literature and reading in order to develop their own ideas and ambitions.
