About Caolan
I am a full time geography and geology teacher and I have tutored on and off in my free time over the past 5 years. I enjoy the different teaching environment that one-on-one lessons provide and the opportunities to work with students and parents who are working towards a particular goal.
In my free time I enjoy hiking and playing football and enjoy getting to know my students and linking lessons to their interests.

I always make an effort to make every lesson unique and tailored to the student in front of me. Everyone has their own style of learning and one of the benefits of one-to-one tutoring is that these lessons can be made to suit each individual student. I often find that lessons of 45 minutes to an hour work best, depending on the student, alongside opportunities to work on things between lessons independently.
I am a geography teacher although I have A level qualifications in both Maths and Further Maths and have tutored maths for students working towards SATS, Eleven plus, KS3 and GCSE qualifications.

Caolan is a patient and skilled tutor. Due to illness I missed a lot of school leading up to my A-levels. Caolen was able to help me understand the content I was struggling to get my head around. Furthermore, his tutoring immensely improved my exam technique. This meant that I was able to answer all the questions on my exam, even ones where I wasn’t as confident knowledge wise. Thanks to Caolen I was able to achieve the grade I needed for my top choice uni. I couldn’t recommend him enough.
