About Siobhain
I am a Primary Teacher with experience of both Primary and Secondary. I have supported SEN students across schools and also taught German, History and Essay Writing. I have worked with both local and international students. I can teach 1:1 or small groups (reduced fee for groups). English Language support from a qualified, experienced teacher (with police check) offers KS1, 2 & 3 (and GCSE) English lessons in accordance with the UK Curriculum if required. My aim is to motivate students through varied methods and questions to engage and ensure learning takes place. This makes the learning experience interesting and memorable to enable information to be processed from the short-term to the long-term memory through repetition and understanding (present/practice/produce). As a highly qualified teacher, I also provide lessons in maths, non-verbal reasoning, verbal reasoning, Creative writing, English as a Foreign Language, IELTS and GCSE English. For 11+ (CEM, GL & ISEB) 13+/Common Entrance exam preparation, along with guidance on transitioning from primary to secondary school.

All lessons are individualised to the needs of the students and their preferred method of learning. I use Google Suite and AI tools to make learning fun and engaging. I can also set homework and assessments. Lessons are 45-60 mins depending on age and subject. I tutor online for learners aged 6-19.
