About Rachel
I am a qualified teacher with experience teaching AQA GCSE and A Level Sociology, and AQA A Level Psychology (I could also tutor GCSE Psychology). I graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a 2:1 in Sociology in 2018. I would love to help more students in achieving their desired grades.

My methods of tutoring are very hands on, I will engage students with activities and tasks that will both teach the content as well as inspiring interest in the subject.
I will cater the sessions to each individual student, their needs and their abilities, as well as developing a relationship with the student which means that I can gain a deeper understanding into their academic needs.
When working with a new student I will begin by asking them to fill out two forms, one which provides me with information such parents/guardians phone numbers/email and any other information I need to know such as allergies and extra educational needs.
The second form will involve information such as target grades, how the student feels about certain topics. I will also provide a document giving information about the layout of the sessions, when assessments will be taken and any homework or extra work that will be given.
