About Andreea

I am a qualified primary school teacher with six years of classroom experience, supporting pupils across a wide range of abilities to make strong progress in English. Throughout my career, I have developed a secure understanding of the national curriculum, assessment expectations and the skills required for academic success at each stage.

Alongside my teaching experience, I am a soon-to-be Master’s graduate, which has strengthened my academic writing, critical analysis and research skills. This enables me to support students not only with core literacy skills, but also with higher-level thinking, structured argument and clear written expression.

I take professionalism seriously. Lessons are carefully planned, structured and tailored to each student’s needs. I provide clear feedback, set purposeful targets and maintain high expectations while creating a calm and supportive learning environment. Parents and students can expect reliability, consistency and clear communication at all times.

Whether working with primary pupils to strengthen reading and writing foundations, or supporting older students preparing for exams, my focus is always on measurable progress and growing confidence. I am committed to helping every student develop strong English skills that will support them both academically and beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

I take a structured, engaging and supportive approach to tutoring English. With six years of experience as a primary school teacher and a strong academic background at Master’s level, I understand how to build reading, writing and grammar skills step by step while keeping lessons purposeful and motivating.

My sessions focus on developing strong foundations first — vocabulary, sentence structure and comprehension — before moving on to more advanced skills such as analytical writing, inference and exam technique. I model high-quality examples, break tasks into manageable steps and provide clear, targeted feedback so students know exactly how to improve.

I regularly use guided practice, retrieval techniques and exam-style questions where appropriate to build confidence and independence.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and is tailored to the student’s age, ability and curriculum. I tutor pupils from KS1 and KS2, as well as students preparing for GCSE English who need support with essay structure, analysis and exam confidence.

My aim is to build strong skills, real confidence and noticeable progress in every student I teach.
