About Ruth
I am a wife, mother and teacher. I have taught Kindergarten to eighth grade and enjoyed every grade. I love to help children or beginner adult readers learn the English Language. I love seeing the children smile and their face light up when they are learning.

Ruth's method and technique of teaching is to use music to help the student learn. Science has shown that a child can learn better when you use music than if you just talk to a child to help them learn to read.
1. Ruth will read a story to the student. The story will be words to a song.
2. Ruth will ask questions about the story.
3. Ruth will ask phonetic questions using the story that was read to them.
4. The teacher and student will sing another song asking phonetic questions.
What sets Ruth apart is using music to learn to read. I have had students that moved 16 to 18 reading levels using this method.
