About Ella
I am a recent English Literature graduate from the University of Edinburgh going on to study an MA in International Relations this September. As well as having an academic background in English Literature, I also have an academic background in Spanish. Following on from acquiring an A Level in Spanish at school, I chose to spend one year of my degree at Edinburgh studying university level Spanish. This then led me on to complete a year abroad in Barcelona, during which time I completed another Spanish course at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. This was a fantastic year that really cemented my love of languages, culture and people.
I currently do not have direct tutoring experience, however, I taught children for 2 years through the Sports Leadership scheme due to which I received a level 3 award. Consequently, I am experienced in the requirements of lesson planning as well as dealing with students in a friendly and encouraging way. I am happy to tailor sessions to students needs as well as set homework, mark it and offer feedback if requested.

Ella tutored me a little during my GCSE's and tutored me throught the entirety of my English Literature A-Level. With her incredible support I was able to attain an A. She has a fantastic ability to support and encourage her students while also forming a close friendship. I could not recommend her more.
Ella was a brilliant tutor in my opinion - she was very clear and patient ..and not for one minute did I ever feel anything was too much trouble As I'm eager but a bit rusty with my Spanish she was able to take me to a whole new level of confidence .
