About Liam
I enjoy teaching Spanish because I love languages and learning about different cultures. Seeing students improve and become more confident is really rewarding for me. When I was in university, I always liked my Spanish classes because they were practical. I believe learning a language is important, not just for travel, but also for understanding other cultures better.

Based on my own experience learning Spanish, I firmly believe in immersing oneself in real-life situations to master a language. In New Zealand, with limited exposure to foreign languages, this can be challenging. My lessons strike a balance between theory and practical application, guiding students through various language chapters. Additionally, I encourage weekly discussions on topics of the student's choice, fostering high interest and a genuine desire to learn, which I find to be the most effective way to retain information.
