About Amy
I started tutoring whilst still an A-Level student in biology and chemistry GCSE at my local school. Then whilst studying at the University of Leeds I tutored primary school maths in the local area.
Since starting tutored I would say I have tutored approximately 40 students of varying ages and abilities.
I am delighted to say that all my primary school maths tutees achieved their SATS maths and my GCSE science tutees all passed with grade C or higher.

Where possible I prefer to use real life examples in my teaching because I believe that this makes the subject matter both more interesting and relatable but also rememberable. I have experience in tutoring maths and science from primary school to GCSE level and I am a very enthusiastic individual who is looking forward to passing on what I know!
I teach from primary school all the way through to A-Level in biology, chemistry and geography. Additionally I teach maths, physics, geology and English at GCSE. I have an excellent academic record and I believe I know what it takes to achieve the best results.
