About Lucy
I have spent the last year as a private one-on-one tutor for a high school student. We meet twice a week to go over homework and lesson materials. We always leave a few minutes at the end of each lesson to develop conversational skills! If I see the student needs more time on a lesson, we slow down to fully grasp it before moving on. It has been so rewarding seeing the student go from knowing the bare minimum of the language to being able to have complete conversations! However, I understand that each student is unique and I am ready to adapt to your needs!

Let's make learning a language fun! My teaching strategy focuses primarily on developing an understanding of the basics. Without a foundation, we cannot truly progress! My lesson plans include fun and engaging activities that utilize diverse learning techniques (reading, writing, speaking, listening). Once the basics are set, I begin to introduce more and more material.
