Whilst my teaching methodology is tailored to the personality of the student I tend to start by identifying the gaps and pitfalls in the student’s knowledge, writing style or structure. With constant feedback on his/her essays, quick and identifiable improvements can be made.
To help with information recall, note-taking and other learning techniques can be taught.
Finally, I ensure the student maintains an open dialogue with me, free to ask questions and remaining as inquisitive as possible.
