About Ferwah
My name is Ferwah Amin and I am 18 years old, turning 19. I have loved maths growing up, and always had a talent for understanding Maths quickly, whilst being able to show how I got to a specific bit. Despite finding Maths hard, I always found a way to overcome this by constant practice and was never afraid or ashamed to ask for help because Maths was in fact hard. I persevered through tough times, like Year 12, not getting great grades, and by January of Year 13, I managed to lock in and get great grades after that.

I have a strong passion for Maths, as I've always loved it. I got a grade 8 in Maths GCSE, and am predicted an A for A level Maths. I have taught my brother Maths, and have taught some of my friends who needed help with some topics.
The way I teach is by breaking down the topics. For me, everything is processed in my head as I'm working out a question, so my method to teach that is to show my working and break it down like that to ensure the other person has learnt. I would provide work after, as after lots of practice, the student can understand more quickly
These tutoring lessons can be for ages 14-16, and would typically last 40-60 minutes per session.
