About Esme
I’m a Math graduate with a first-class degree, and I offer private lessons because I genuinely enjoy helping people understand a subject that can feel overwhelming at times. I know from experience that math often isn’t about ability — it’s about how it’s explained. I want to teach because I like seeing that moment when something finally clicks and a student realizes they’re more capable than they thought. My lessons are tailored to you, focused on building real understanding and confidence, and creating a space where you feel comfortable asking questions and improving at your own pace.

I offer private maths lessons that are genuinely tailored to each student rather than following a set script. I have a first-class Maths degree, but more importantly I know how to explain things in a way that actually makes sense. I break topics down step by step, focus on the areas you’re finding difficult, and make sure you properly understand something before moving on. Lessons are based around your syllabus and goals, whether that’s building confidence, catching up, or aiming for top grades. It’s a supportive space where you can ask questions, take your time, and improve without feeling judged or rushed.
