About Neeshma
Hi, I’m Neeshma. I’m originally from New Zealand and have experience teaching students both online and in person. I enjoy working with learners from different backgrounds and supporting them as they build confidence and understanding at their own pace. I believe learning new things is a challenge worth embracing, and I help students see progress as part of the process—not something to be intimidated by. My teaching style is structured, patient, and encouraging, with a focus on clear explanations and practical understanding. Outside of tutoring, I love to bake, travel, and explore new ideas and skills. These interests keep me curious and adaptable, qualities I bring into my teaching. I aim to create a professional, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.

Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching approach is student-centred and adaptable. I have experience teaching both online and in person, and I tailor lessons to each student’s pace and learning style. I break down complex topics into clear steps, use practical examples, and encourage questions. I view learning new material as a positive challenge and help students build confidence through consistent practice.
Typical Lesson Plan
Lessons begin with a quick review, followed by structured explanations of new concepts. Sessions include guided practice, examples, and independent problem-solving with real-time feedback. Each lesson ends with a summary of key points and optional practice to reinforce learning.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
I am patient, clear, and flexible in my teaching. I focus on long-term understanding rather than memorization and adapt my approach until concepts truly make sense. My experience in both online and in-person settings allows me to support different learning needs effectively.
Who the Lessons Are For
I teach high school and undergraduate students, particularly in business, information systems, data analytics, marketing, and related subjects. Lessons are tailored to the student’s level, course requirements, and goals.
