Recently Graduated from the masters programme at the Royal College of Music, I teach Singing, Piano and Trombone, as well as theory and other musical practices.

About Michael
As a young singer, I have been a member of opera choruses for some of the most esteemed companies in the world. I have sung in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, St John's Smith Square (now Sinfonia Smith Square), and Grange Park Opera House. I have also had the privilege of working with some of the best singers (and teachers) of their generations, such as Sir Bryn Terfel, Dame Sarah Connolly and Sir Thomas Allen.
As a trombonist, I have had the privilege of playing all over the UK in bands and orchestras with the likes of Superbrass, musicians from the Berlin Philharmonic, and under the baton of conductors such as Ben Gernon and Peter Starc.
All of this is to say that I have had a privileged life in music, that I am more than willing to share with anyone I can, and I apply the teaching and learning techniques that I have picked up to help any student who is willing.

My techniques for teaching is based on the pupil. My main goal throughout any of my lessons is for everyone to have fun! This keeps it enjoyable and means you are more likely to practice and want to come back each week.
Typically, my lessons range from half an hour to an hour.
As a tutor, I have been and am still a part of the Royal College of Music Teaching Service, and have had many happy tutees throughout my time as a musician.
I am happy teaching all ages and all levels!
