About Reem
I’m a passionate tutor with a deep love for literature and language. My goal is to make complex ideas easier to understand and help students feel more confident in their abilities. I work with GCSE and A-Level students as well as university undergrads, offering thoughtful, structured guidance in essay writing, analysis, and revision. I’ve also worked with international students, adapting lessons to suit different needs and learning styles. Outside of teaching, I enjoy hiking in the Peak District, doing yoga and pilates, and exploring Sheffield’s literary scene. As the eldest of four siblings, I’ve always naturally found myself in the role of explainer and supporter. This translates directly into my tutoring style.

As a teacher of English and History, I focus on goal-driven and individually tailored tutoring sessions to keep my students motivated in their learning. During our first meeting, we'll collaborate to determine the most effective approach for your needs. My expertise and interests lie in analysing poetry and working with anthologies. However, I am capable of analysing any given content, as both my master's and undergraduate studies have prepared me to be very flexible when it comes to teaching GCSE and A-level. Additionally, I have experience in tutoring international students who need to strengthen their English skills.
