Hi, I'm Abul – a Civil Engineering graduate and the top math scorer in my batch. About My Teaching Approach – Abul, Online Maths Tutor
Many children find maths difficult not because they’re weak, but because they’ve never been taught in a way their brain understands. I believe that every child can do well in maths if the teaching matches how they think and learn.
Some students are visual learners — they need to see how a problem works. Some need to break big problems into smaller steps. Some just need a little more time and confidence. I adjust my teaching based on what your child needs.
How I Teach
My teaching is based on three simple ideas:
1. Start from the basics: I make sure your child understands the foundation before moving to harder topics. This builds confidence.
2. Use real-life examples: I explain maths with examples from everyday life so it feels less scary and more useful.
3. Focus on thinking, not memorizing: I teach how to think through a problem, not just how to get the answer.
Children’s brains learn better when they feel safe and calm. So I create a learning space that is positive, patient, and pressure-free. If a student makes a mistake, that’s okay — we learn from it together.
Lesson Length
Each class is around 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the student’s focus and energy. I end each session with a quick summary and some practice work to keep the concepts fresh.
My Experience
I have a strong maths background and real experience helping students who struggled with maths. Parents trust me because I explain clearly, listen carefully, and make sure students actually understand before moving on.
