About Cindy
I spent 30 years tutoring students individually and in small groups. I am a retired teacher, Lead Reading Teacher, and Academic Coordinator. I came out of retirement during Covid to become a tutor. I wanted to help students try and keep up. I found that I enjoyed it so much that I have continued doing it for the last three years. The students become very comfortable and relaxed with me. They realize that it's okay to make mistakes as long as they try and we always talk and work through the skills together.

My name is Cindy. I am an online tutor for all elementary subject areas. I tutor students ages 5-10 online. I have had a lot of success working with students online. My system is such that it keeps students engaged and focused online. My certifications include Elementary Education 1-5 (all subject areas), and Reading K-12. Students are assessed and lessons and materials are created to meet the needs of each student. I also help with homework assignments and projects. I ask that each parent have a printer available because I email any materials needed for the students. I also ask that students have pencils and colored pencils or crayons for each session.
