About George
With over 7 years of experience as a physics, chemistry, and math teacher, I have dedicated the last two decades to teaching physics at Hinsdale South High School in Darien, Illinois. Additionally, I have taught Physics, Chemistry, and College Algebra at various colleges for over twenty-five years. My passion for physics education extends beyond the classroom, as I have also worked as a certified tutor for college physics students and veterans. My commitment to helping students succeed in physics has led me to tutor a diverse range of students, from seventh-grade prodigies to single moms pursuing nursing degrees. I am excited to continue sharing my knowledge and expertise in physics to help students achieve their academic goals.

In teaching physics, I prioritize hands-on experimentation and problem-solving. I believe in creating a dynamic learning environment where students can actively engage with the material through experiments, simulations, and real-world applications. By emphasizing critical thinking and analytical skills, I guide students to understand the underlying principles of physics rather than just memorizing formulas. I encourage questions and discussions to foster a deeper understanding of complex concepts. Additionally, I provide personalized support to address individual learning needs and ensure mastery of key topics. Through this approach, I aim to instill a love for physics and empower students to confidently tackle challenging problems in the subject.
