About Ruxi
I am a 24-year-old MA graduate from Heidelberg University and am currently preparing my doctoral application. My subjects are linguistics and literature, with a focus on children's literature. During my bachelor's degree in Romania, I taught students between the ages of 7 and 18 in English and Romanian. The lessons took place in state schools. Experience has given me the certainty that teaching is my way of life.

My main teaching method is dialogue. The difficulty of most students is speaking, so I want to create a good environment during class where learners can express their ideas freely and clearly in the new language. Through interactive methods such as games, role playing, songs, creative exercises, I cover all aspects of a language: reading, writing, listening and, as mentioned above, speaking. And at the center of it all are the students. I believe that a language can be learned more easily if the teaching materials are tailored to the specific context of the students and their interests.
