About Lucy
I am a joint honours graduate of violin and composition at the Royal College of Music, and a former student of Chetham's School of Music. I have a wide variety of experience ranging from solo performance, orchestral workshops and chamber music, and have performed/recorded in venues such as the Bridgewater Hall, Abbey Road Studios and Queen Elizabeth Hall. I am dedicated to learning all about music, and passionate about sharing this beautiful art form with the rest of the world!

Each individual has a unique journey into music. My approach to teaching is all about understanding the needs and attributes of my students to best provide both productive and inspiring growth. I will tailor your lessons to your specific preferences, be it more intense study or simply to have fun! I am passionate about making musical education an exciting experience for all!
I have had an abundance of coaching with world class violinists and conductors from a young age, giving me access to a broad range of experience and insight to pass onto students, and enabling me to analyse their progress from a variety of angles.
I have had experience teaching both individual and group rehearsals for younger children and teenagers, in addition to taking courses in beginners violin teaching.
Lessons range from 30 minutes to an hour, any level from beginner to advanced.
