About Samantha
My name is Samantha, and I am 27 years old and living in Navan, Co. Meath. In my day job, I work in publishing production, but I have over three years of experience tutoring Junior and Leaving Certificate French and Spanish students. I have a First Class Honours Degree in French and Spanish from the University of Galway, and I have lived in both France and Spain. My lessons are geared mainly towards students sitting the Junior and Leaving Certificate exams, but I am also open to taking adults who would like to learn French and Spanish. I am a passionate linguist, and my dream is to be able to speak multiple languages. - my current personal project is learning Italian!
I am really passionate about language learning, and I love tutoring, as it gives me the opportunity to support others in their language learning journey. I am very aware that language learning can be sometimes uncomfortable or even anxiety-inducing, and this is something I like to take into account when building my classes. My style of teaching aims to make the classroom a safe space and is first and foremost student-focused; it's all about meeting each individual student where they are at, and helping them achieve their own personal goals!
If this sounds good to you, then feel free to send me a DM, and let's get started! :)

Each student has different aims and needs when it comes to language learning, and I build my lesson plans around you. My lessons are normally 1 hour, and I like to incorporate a bit of everything - listening, speaking, writing, and reading. As a long-time language learner, I find variety keeps our brains engaged in the material. It keeps things fresh, while at the same time giving us the opportunity to practice all of our skills. I provide all the notes and materials for you, and I am also available to email during the school week if you are stuck on some homework or would like me to look over something for you. I also love teaching in a way that is very exam-focused, so if you have hopes of achieving your dream grade, I am the tutor for you!

I think Samantha is an attentive, comprehensive and trustworthy tutor as my French, in particular grammar, has improved drastically since starting grinds with her. Samantha’s classes are always very well structured and organized and her notes are extremely helpful. If you are looking for grinds in any areas of French I would 100% recommend Samantha !!
Samantha is an excellent Soanish tutor. She provides a 1:1 service for my son who is in junior cert year. She is patient and engaging, and very well liked by my son. She has an excellent approach to learning and accommodates learning according to the child's needs and ability. I would highly recommend her. Andrea
Very friendly and super helpful for my Spanish, highly recommend
