About Alex
I’m currently in school completing my Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management at the University of North Texas. I’m a graduate of Trinity Valley School and an Eagle Scout and have staffed many summer camps such as Worth Ranch and Philmont. I’ve also worked at the TCU STEM summer camp. I have a lot of experience teaching kids and adolescents and want to share my passion for chess with them.

I love to share the passion of playing chess with as many students as possible! I can teach the rules of the game and beginner tactics, all the way to opening prep and reviewing mistakes made. I’m rated 1300 on chess.com and I have worked with many kids in my staffing of summer camps.
