About Sandra
I am an educator with two master's degrees: one in neurobiology and one in science education. I have been teaching for eleven years and now work in the field of education for a non-profit corporation. I have taught in community colleges, high schools and area gifted centers since 2007.

I am available to tutor in general science, biology, anatomy and physiology, chemistry and environmental science at levels from 6th grade up to college. Additionally, I have edited science journal articles on the side, so I can help with science literacy and writing, which can be challenging! My goal is to empower the student to set and reach goals in a supportive and structured manner using inquiry and hands-on approaches whenever possible.
