About Carys
Big science nerd here. NZ Education is tricky to navigate currently, and I would like to support students to succeed. I have a huge passion for science and have the skill to support students. A bit about me: - Mom of two boys who are complete nutters. - The beach is my favorite place - Hockey is my favorite sport - Toitū Te Tiriti.

I will work with you to get your head around your school work. We will try different approaches based on how you learn, your needs and your interests. Sessions would last an hour at least, but we can see how things go and what you need from me.
I have Teacher Aide experience in a rural High School and two degrees in science from uni in the UK. I work with Rangatahi in safe, non-judgmental spaces and like to keep things light hearted and casual, but maintain interest and passion!
