About Zak
Hi! I am Zak, a freshman (American for first-year) at Harvard. I grew up in Coventry and studied maths, further maths, physics, and history at A-level. Currently, I am pursuing two degrees, one in Statistics and one in Economics.
I love teaching and watching people grow in their abilities. Within maths, I know many people who love it and many who hate it. What I will say is that you can learn maths to the point you fall in love with it. Maths is like a language. You hate it at first because you do not understand it, but slowly over time, things make sense. Anybody can be good at maths and achieve at a high level, and I would love to help support you on such a journey.

I teach by explaining the content in its entirety. Here, I will really break down what we need to know. Then, we will see how the content is applied in exam questions, working on them as a team until you begin to answer them independently. After practicing, we will see the trends in the questions we answered and notice if the exam board seems to ask the same style of questions. If they do, we will make note of it and make sure we know exactly what the exam board wants, and the ways to maximize our marks if we our stuck. To conclude, we will go over a recap of content and I will point you in the direction of efficient resources. Most lessons will last an hour!
