About Valeria
Hi, my name is Valeria Wilding, and I am a dedicated university student with nearly two years of tutoring experience. I specialize in teaching English, Sociology, and History, helping students strengthen their understanding and build confidence in these subjects.
I am passionate about tutoring because it allows me to inspire learning and foster creativity, while also supporting them in achieving their academic and personal goals. I create a supportive environment where discussion is encouraged and feedback focuses on reflection and progression.

My teaching style is discussion based; I like to include the students and encourage questions and critical thinking in my lessons. I will also foster reflectiveness in students, and take a positive reinforcement approach to teaching. The typical length of my lessons range from 50minutes to an hour, and in this time.
A typical lesson would consist of a explanation on the expectations of the paper I am teaching at that moment followed by planning and writing by the student with assistance from myself in any way that will help them with their exam technique.
I have approximately two year's experience tutoring both on an online forum and in-person. I have tutored from primary school ages to A-Level with consistently good feedback from students. I have E-Level (IB GCSE equivalent) and A-Level qualifications, I have also achieved a First average in my first year at University.
I am currently looking for GSCE or A-Level students preferably to teach online, though I would be more than able to tutor younger students who need help with English subjects.
