About Michael
My name is Michael, I'm a second year student of Pure Mathematics with a goal of being a university lecturer. There's not that much money in that line of work, but it provides me with the two things I want in a career; research and teaching. Research - spending time just racking my brain to make sense of a problem everyone finds tedious, but I like it. Teaching - helping others see the fun in the subject they don't understand, enjoyment is the most important part, grades will naturally follow after.

The best way to learn a subject is to really try to understand why everything works, and what is trying to be achieved. High school was always about getting the marks, no need to question why. This always made subjects much harder to learn for everyone, so I'm hoping I can really explain the theory behind the work! This doesn't have to be intimidating, it can be really fun and enjoyable once you see how things work!
