I have tutoring experience teaching English Language Learners. I have also taught high school social studies classes as part of my secondary education major practicums. I also have a keen passion for history and all social studies related topics, and get joy out of seeing students learn new things.

My educational philosophy is that the fundamental purpose of education and school is to improve both the lives of students and society and that this is done through teachers simultaneously imparting their knowledge to students in the classroom as well as facilitate student learning through group activities and discussion, and that students and teachers should work collaboratively to accomplish these purposes.
