About Rümeysa
I graduated from Uludağ University, Department of Science Teaching. I am currently preparing for a master degree in science and I want to further develop myself in this field. I had internship experience in 2 different secondary schools. I have a good command of secondary school science subjects and teaching methods and techniques suitable for 11-14 year old students. I can also give English lessons for secondary school students. I have a good relationship with children most of the time and I like to make education fun. I believe that an education supported by examples from daily life will be more permanent.

In order to apply an individual approach to my students in my lessons, I start by measuring my student's level and begin my class with questions that probe recall. For the topics I see to be missing, I ask questions that will make the student think about that subject and I shape my lesson around those questions. I plan to use the innovative teaching approaches I learned at the university in my classes. Note-taking is very important to me, so I want my students to have a notebook and pen with them before starting the lesson. The student will not keep notes, but will encode the important information learned that day in a way that they can understand.
