My name is Connor and I am a secondary school teacher based in Cardiff, South Wales. I am experienced in teaching both English, in which I hold my PGCE (from the prestigious Teach First programme), and Religious Studies in which I hold a postgraduate degree. From my teaching experience I have a great deal of knowledge in the WJEC and Eduqas exam boards' English Literature, English Language, and Religious Studies exams at both KS4&5.
My teaching style is often conversational, as I believe that much of our learning comes from discussion and reverse teaching. Furthermore, I am a large believer that confidence is often the key to promoting success within a subject. As such, much of my teaching is based on proven methods of building learners' confidence through gradually building the difficulty of tasks until the students feel that they are able to tackle any task all upon their own. Within my lessons you will find a great deal of interactive activities, given that much of my early teaching career came within the pandemic, resulting in my developing a large library of blended-learning resources.
