About Madison
I am determined to make sure that my students understand that I want them to succeed, in whatever their end goal ends up being. Whether it is one area of history they are struggling with, or the subject as a whole, I want them to walk away with a better understanding as to why we study history. I won't leave you hanging, and I will not stop until you are confident in your abilities in history.

Working towards real learning, not just memorization. Even those who are not fans of history hopefully will enjoy learning from me. I employ methods of analysis and reasoning in my tutoring that hopefully creates that "a-ha" moment with my students. Learning history is more than just memorizing dates and people, it is about understanding how and why events happened, and putting that into greater historical context.
