Mike’s interactive style of teaching made the hardest of topics easy to comprehend, and his ability to raise morale in any classroom was unmatched. Mike’s years of experience in military aviation paid dividends to myself and fellow students, achieving top grades in our ATPL topics taught by Mike. However, it was outside of the classroom, where Mike went above and beyond. As a mental health first aider, he always invested heavily in an ‘open door’ policy, and would go above and beyond in listening to the concerns of students and offering a helping hand in professional and personal matters.
