About Anna
I am a senior at the University of Notre Dame. I am majoring in computer science. Throughout my time in school, I have taken ample math courses. I started with calculus III as a freshman and moved on to linear algebra and operations research in the following years. I love math and enjoy helping other people to appreciate it as well. At Notre Dame, I worked for two years as a Student-Athlete tutor, tutoring Calculus III, and Elements of Calculus. I have also worked for two years as a teaching assistant for Fundamentals of Computing, our base computer science course taught in the C language. I am graduating in 2023 and pursuing a career in software engineering!

As a tutor and teaching assistant, I have ample experience working with different types of learners. I try to think of different analogies that help students relate things they know well to the content they are learning. I also have people explain their way of thinking about a problem and try to understand their thought processes. What sets me apart the most is my empathy as a tutor to understand where the student is coming from so we can work off of the basis they already have. I also always come in with a positive attitude and believe that every student is capable of achieving their goals!
