About Hope
Hello! My name is Hope Richardson. The kids I tutor at my school call me Miss Hope. I am a senior in high school. Fun facts about me are: I am 18, I play softball, basketball, and I’m in marching band, I have played 7 instruments, my main instrument is clarinet, been playing for 8 years now, and lastly I am the Drum Major for my high school marching band!

I am in a work-based learning program called Impact Fellowship. Impact Fellowship is a tutoring program where I help students in 4th/5th grade progress in their reading levels. I do this during my school hours from Tuesday-Friday every week. I already have a year's worth of planning from a program called Sonday. Sonday gave me a lesson book for all grade levels to teach 6-steps each day for the students. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I’m already prepared with anything a student needs help with. I also want to see these children thrive and be more confident. Reading is used for the rest of our lives, so I want the kids I tutor to learn something each lesson and take it forth with them for the rest of their lives.
