About Ankita
I am a senior PhD candidate pursuing my Doctorate degree in Redox chemistry in Genetics at OSU. I am an independent researcher, a senior TA, and a one-to-one mentor of undergraduate students. I believe one should approach the art of teaching with kindness and empathy as it is all about the students. I am always open to answer questions to the best of my ability and always willing to help students who might be struggling with a speicfic concept.

I prepare visual aids for my students irrespective of the subject I teach. I break down complex concepts into simple slides and use Powerpoint with animations to describe complicated mechanisms, such as in Biochemistry. I have taught undergraduate students (Freshman-Senior), also open to high school students. I am patient and always make sure all students of my class grasp the concept by engaging students in active learning methods and in-class activities.
