About Raynard
I grew up in Asia, and my middle school and high school studies there were brutal. I would often be given an overwhelming number of assignments and they were all due in such a short period. I realized that I am spending a bit more hours than I would've liked. So, I started to focus more on understanding the concepts and it made mathematics and physics into something that didn't fully feel like a chore to me. As I progress further, I start to enjoy the subjects as I was getting better at them each time a test comes up. Not only that but, I now have more time to do things I actually like more because I am not stuck doing my assignments. By changing my focus into understanding the basic concepts, advanced concepts can always be broken down into simple things. I understand that we often get intimidated when new topics arise, but there is always an easier way to figure it out. I hope that I am able to help more people find ways into reducing the quantity of time, but their quality of studying will grow.

Creating a safe and familiar environment is essential to studying better. In doing so, students tend to be able to be more engaged in their studies and be more comfortable. By always sticking to basic concepts, I break down tough concepts to simple digestible bites and adapt to student’s pace in studying.
In physics, I try to relate it to common things we experience from day to day. Physics is a subject that often times require a lot of understanding, but once that is met it will usually be smoother as you go. My lesson plan would start off in visualizing the basics and making sure that the basics of the topic is fully grasped by the student. From there I would go over a few exercises, whether it would be from their homework or textbooks. Lastly, I would give them tips on how to address problems in the future.
In maths, my focus would be to remind them of simple concepts. The lesson plan would also be similar to how I teach physics. However, maths is a subject that requires a bit of practice. I may ask them to do a few more exercises, depending on their understanding.
The lessons are primarily for students in middle school to high school. However, not for competition or Olympiads.
