About Caitlin
I have been giving lessons for over 5 years to students of all levels and starting abilities. I teach everything from basic English understanding and creative writing all the way up to special workshops dealing with Shakespeare and his effect on the modern world.
I have taught more than 50 students and helped more than 20 of them to move onto AP classes and 15 of them received a 4 or 5 score on their end of year AP tests.

I have tutored professionally for more than 5 years and am in the process of receiving my Tutor Accreditation and Certificate. I have been a life-long reader and book enthusiast and have an uncanny ability to take a lot of information and help anyone of any skill level feel like they have a mastery of the subject. I am a pragmatist and understand that not everyone is as in love with literature, reading and writing as I am, but I believe that my enthusiasm helps people of all levels to feel comfortable and willing to learn.
When tutoring with me, we will take an initial assessment to understand where you are, what your likes and dislikes about the subject are and what you would like to get out of tutoring. From there I will build an individual learning plan for each student that fits their schedule and need.
Each student receieves:
1) Initial assesment (FREE)
2) Profile of their habits, likes/dislikes
3) Individualized lesson plan with calendar
4) Complete access to my library of knowledge bases and worksheets
5) My undivided attention at every meeting (wether in person or online)
