About Raika
I began my musical journey with Hindustani Classical training as a child in India, which gave me a strong foundation in voice and expression. Over the years, I expanded into Western genres, exploring different styles and blending cultural influences. I hold experience with Trinity College London and ABRSM exams, which built my base in music theory and performance. Beyond formal training, I was also part of an Indo-American a cappella group (TPP), which honed my collaborative and performance skills across diverse musical traditions. About My Lessons
I teach singing with a hands-off approach designed to make you independent in as few as 5 classes. My methodology focuses on empowering you to understand and control your own voice, rather than relying on me long-term.
Lesson Structure
Every lesson is built around your goals. Our first session will be about getting to know you, your interests, and what you want to achieve - whether that’s vocal technique, performance confidence, or creative exploration. From there, we’ll design a clear, structured plan together.
What Sets Me Apart
I bring precision and adaptability to each lesson. While I provide holistic vocal training, I always center your personal needs. For younger students (under 15), I make sure lessons match their focus levels and interests, keeping things engaging and fun.
