About Carlos Arturo
I am a graduate of lyrical singing from the Guildhall School of music and Drama in London and I have a master's degree from the Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya. (ESMUC). I can teach lyrical and modern singing at various levels (initiation, intermediate and advanced). I can teach repertoire English, German, French and Italian. I am bilingual, I speak English from an early age as it is my mother's mother tongue, which is why I can also teach English.

My teaching method is mostly practical. I try to tailor my classes to the needs of the student. Although there is a common technical or theoretical basis, the way to explain or understand it varies depending on the person. I am a singer, my specialty is teaching vocal technique and repertoire although I can also teach music theory. I am bilingual (English is my mother's native language and I speak it from an early age.) And I can teach English. My classes are aimed at all levels, from initiation to more advanced levels. Methodology and structure: Singing classes, vocal technique (lyrical and modern): First I like to talk a bit with the student to find out what level he is at and who has worked before. In this way we find a starting point. I also like to ask a little bit about the student's other hobbies and interests as this always helps to identify ways, musical examples, language examples and other things that are related to the particular student. After that little introduction, we talk a little about the theory of singing or music, I describe a little how the instrument works so that the student and I have a common language and we can understand each other. Then I listen to the student sing and, based on what I hear, I designate what exercises or practices I consider to be helpful. Language classes: The language classes are based on conversation since I consider that it is necessary to be able to speak the language calmly in order to understand the theoretical concepts. I adjust to what the student needs or asks, I am flexible. Music theory classes: I try to make them practical and look for both classical and modern musical examples that illustrate the concepts. The idea is to make the student familiar with music theory and not only see it on paper, but can listen and identify the concepts we see.

Carlos es un profesor increíble, muy humano. Me enseño a ser consciente de mi propia biología y como funciona el cuerpo para poder afinar mi técnica y sacarle el mejor provecho de mis capacidades, lo que me llevo a ser capaz de enfrentarme a nuevos retos y piezas o ejercicios de mayor dificultad. Lo recomiendo mucho. Te va a dar herramientas útiles y sobretodo te acompaña en cada momento para que primero seas consciente y aprendas por que pasan las cosas, antes de solo cantar.
El profe Carlos disfruta enormemente la música y tiene un alto nivel profesional. Esto hace que pueda transmitir todos sus conocimientos con emoción y lograr inspirar cambios positivos en la musicalidad de sus alumnos. He tenido la oportunidad de compartir con él muchos proyectos musicales y admiro su talento.
Me gustó mucho la experiencia de haber tenido clases con Carlos, usa una metodología en la que se ve el progreso y logra transmitir mediante su talento y lecciones mucho conocimiento.
