About Ysaline
I am a sixth form student who has just completed 11 GCSEs along with 3 in advance. I have both an academic and sports scholarship at my current school ( Putney High School - GDST) which makes me experienced in balancing lots of activities and extra curricular at the same time. As I love contributing to my community and helping others when in need, I also have a passion for helping others if they are struggling. This is why tutoring has always appealed to me!

I believe that understanding information is far more important than simply being taught it. This is why I'm a big advocate of using all sorts of methods to teach material, such as using diagrams, anagrams, mnemonics, videos and PowerPoint. I would make sure lessons are fun whilst being studious, and I encourage students to always ask questions if they aren't sure of something. Lessons should always be interactive and interesting so that information can be better remembered. Along side, I like to use worksheets and practice questions to test how much has been learnt in a lesson.
