About Mara
I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of experience helping students build confidence and achieve strong academic results. I hold a BSc in Animal Biology, which has given me a solid foundation in understanding life sciences. My main focus is supporting high school students preparing for IGCSE and A-Level Biology examinations. I aim to make complex topics clear and manageable.
I specialise in Cell Biology, Human Physiology, and Ecology. These core areas are essential for success in biology at advanced levels. I break down each topic into simple, structured explanations. My lessons are designed to build understanding step by step.
I use detailed diagrams to help students visualise biological processes. I also include experimental analysis to strengthen scientific thinking. Past paper practice is an important part of my teaching approach. It helps students become familiar with exam patterns and improve accuracy.
