About Favour

Ever since I was little, I have always had a thing for impacting knowledge and helping out. It always gave me and still gives me so much joy. Growing up, I realized I feel so bad when I see a student who is so sharp, smart and bright, but not doing so well academically or not being understood. They automatically become my best friends. And I automatically take it upon myself to see a change for the world to see what I see in them. This has always given me joy more than most things in life. Teaching is my life and I am proud to be a teacher. I love everything Theatrical. I love sports. I love extra-curricular activities too. Most especially, I love my students, they give me so much joy. We will definitely not smile at each other all the time, because I need to instill discipline sometimes, and correct. But I am very sure that the correction will be in love and my students will definitely be a strong priority.

About the lesson

A law of students/children psychology in teaching, is to know, understand and relate to your students. Having it in mind that no two students are the same. With this in mind, I observe, get to know and understand each student (After some period of time definitely, but still being conscious) in his or her uniqueness. I identify each student's strengths, and outline major things that still need to be worked on and given more attention, then we take it from there. Definitely, not neglecting his/her strengths Finally, I am definitely not a fan of all work and no play (and vice versa of course). I give time out for breaks and some fun, for in doing this, I get to know my students better without pressure from either party, and they can warm up to me and vice versa. This will in turn, help us have a better teacher-student relationship, that makes the academic work very much productive.
