About Nnenna

My name is Nnenna Emmanuela Nwankwo, and I am a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic educator who believes that every child has the potential to learn, grow, and excel when given the right guidance and encouragement.

I hold a degree in Business Administration, an NCE in Business Education, and a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) qualification. I have several years of teaching experience, working with young learners and helping them develop academically, socially, and personally.

Who Am I as a Teacher?

I am a patient, friendly, and committed teacher who understands that children have different learning abilities and learning speeds. I believe teaching goes beyond standing in front of learners and delivering lessons. It involves understanding each learner, identifying their challenges, building their confidence, and creating an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving.

What Do I Teach?

I am particularly passionate about helping learners develop strong English literacy skills, including:

Reading fluently and with understanding.

Phonics, letter sounds, and pronunciation.

Spelling and vocabulary development.

Word recognition and comprehension.

Building confidence in spoken English.

I also teach Igbo Language, helping learners connect with their language, understand its structure, pronounce words correctly, build vocabulary, and communicate confidently in everyday conversations.

Why Do I Want to Teach You?

I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy seeing learners make progress. There is something fulfilling about watching a child who once struggled to recognize words begin to read independently, spell correctly, and express themselves confidently.

I also believe that learning Igbo is more than learning another language; it is an opportunity to preserve our cultural heritage, strengthen our identity, and keep our beautiful language alive for future generations.

My desire is to make learning enjoyable, interactive, practical, and meaningful. I want every learner to feel seen, supported, encouraged, and proud of their achievements.

I may not promise that learning will happen overnight, but I promise to bring patience, commitment, encouragement, and the right teaching strategies to every lesson.

I am a passionate, patient, and dedicated educator with a strong interest in helping children develop essential literacy skills and become confident communicators.

I specialize in teaching English reading, phonics, letter sounds, spelling, pronunciation, and vocabulary development, helping learners progress from recognizing letters and sounds to reading words, sentences, and passages with confidence and understanding.

I also teach Igbo Language, helping children and adults develop the ability to understand, speak, and communicate fluently. My lessons cover Igbo sounds, vocabulary, pronunciation, greetings, sentence construction, everyday conversations, and cultural expressions.

As a teacher, I understand that every child learns differently. I therefore adopt a learner-centered, engaging, and interactive teaching approach, adapting my lessons to suit individual abilities, learning needs, and pace.

My goal is not just to help learners memorize words or complete assignments, but to build strong foundations, improve their communication skills, boost their confidence, and inspire a genuine love for learning.

I would be delighted to bring my teaching experience, commitment, and passion for educational excellence to your tutoring team, providing learners with a supportive and stimulating environment where they can achieve meaningful academic progress.
