About Justin
I have taught at university for an upper-level political science course during the student-teaching portion of my program. I have worked in special education for six years with students of varying abilities and social-emotional competency therefore, I tend to hold an abundance of patience when working with students of all academic levels. I currently work with the Archdiocese and can therefore instruct students in Catholic theology at the middle school level. I bring a worldview from the Oceania-based perspective, having spent my higher education program in Hawai'i.

I utilize a laid-back and simple explanation of academic materials. Preferring to know ahead of time what material may already be known by the individual so as to not over-instruct and provide unnecessary information. I am able to instruct in grades 6-12 social studies including but not limited to: geography, US history (including the Constitution), World History, and psychology. Lessons can be instructed through slides and other supplemental pieces of information. However, my lessons can also be simple refreshers where the student can ask questions about confusing areas and we can have discourse to make things simpler. Lessons can also be lesson reviews for assessments or project assistance with school assignments.
