As a teacher approaching a decade's worth of classroom experience in various social studies middle and high school subjects, my approach blends academic rigor with genuine curiosity and relevance. My lessons are designed not only to help students master the content but also to think like historians, political scientists, and economists - to analyze, question, and connect ideas across disciplines.

Each session begins with a clear learning objective aligned to AP frameworks or other academic standards. I use inquiry-based learning and Socratic questioning to guide students toward deep understanding rather than rote memorization. Lessons often incorporate primary sources, data interpretation, political cartoons, and real-world case studies to build the analytical and critical writing skills that AP exams and college-level courses demand.

What sets me apart is my ability to make complex ideas accessible without oversimplifying them. I help students uncover the story behind the structure - why governments function the way they do, how economies shape societies, and how history influences today's global dynamics. My students often describe my lessons as "challenging but engaging" and say that they leave each session with a clearer sense of confidence and direction.

Above all, my goal is to help students become independent thinkers who can not only succeed on exams or essays, but also apply these critical thinking skills to every aspect of their social lives - the true nature of the social sciences.
